So this is going to be blog times 2 (even though its a little less eventful than most entries). Weekend number 1 (the one I skipped):I met up with my friend Tracy for brunch (pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon and french fries (wedges and regular)) and then to buy the "Save the cheerleader. Save the world." shirt. A little while later, I met up with Kyle and after dragging him to a few stores, we met up with a small group at Duryu Park. It was nice outside, so why not. So we are just hanging out in the sun, playing cards games and started doing random things on the lawn. Cartwheels, round offs, head stands, leap frog and random things like that.
Which spurred to the wheel barrow races and piggy back races. We were definitely the objects of attention to the Koreans in the park. It was fun. We called it the waygook games because waygook is foreigner in Korean. So the foreigner games. haha. Then I met up with Sophia at the Holy Grill restaurant for a birthday dinner and to meet up with some friends. Then out. Out ended with a nooribang! Got to love karaoke. On Sunday, met up with Kyle for some more shopping and brunch, pancakes again. The Sophia came and we took her to the train station back to Busan. Kyle came over to watch Love Actually because he had never seen it. So pretty low key weekend.

Weekend number 2:
So Saturday I go over to Busan to meet Sophia. We end up heading down towards the beach and hanging out with her friend Britney. Before we head to the beach, we do a little shopping for a colorful outfit for Janina and Greta's (South African) color themed party. We get to Gwangalli beach, dip our feet in the freezing water then take a walk down, went to coffee bean hung out a little before dinner. Ate dinner at The Frypan (chicken tenders and chips)then met the group at the bar. We ran into some friends (from Daegu) walking to the bar talked for a bit then headed over.
There were actually quite a few people there from Daegu who came for the birthday party. I also saw some girls whom I met in Busan way back in February. The next day the only thing we did was have brunch, got to love them pancakes. And Sophia had yet to go to Costco in Korea. So we went to Costco Busan. I bought a bottle of Moscato D'Asti and a Malbec from Mendoza...so excited for actual wine. Not the Korean stuff they call wine.
We arrived back at Sophias around 5 then my train was at 5:20. So we ran hard. I blame to stairs. Up and down the stairs we ran.I had made it to the train with maybe a minute to spare. Back in Daegu there had been a festival, so I caught the end of it an bought a stamp. It has tigers imprinted into the wood with Chinese lettering. The man carved my name in Korean (he was surprised I could write my name) and gave me some red ink. Its one of these but with a design:
